Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

L400 oil pressure sensor

Post by icrashplanes »

Hi all:
I have purchased a Franz oil filter and now am trying to find the oil pressure sensor in order to install it. Everything I have seen points to the oil filter mount as the obvious place to find it, but I have searced to no avail. I have (I assume) the standard 4M40 engine (noisy thing, makes wheels go round). Anybody know where it is (for real)? Thanks.

I don't have my L400 yet - but I bet this link can help!

The 4M40 manual will show you exactly where to find it! (If I had mine, I would take photos). :-D

Mr. Fibble: I already have the manual and hadn't been able to find it, but after another search through the chapters I found it sitting on top of the Vacuum Pump assembly, just underneath the intercooler. Thanks for the incentive to check again. As an extra, does anyone know of a trailer hitch that is AVAILABLE for the L400, not just rumoured?

I know Mardy at Amazing Auto has trailer hitches for the L400. I can't give you any more details than that though.

Mardy gets them done at E&H hitch in Burnaby, they are custom hitches not simply a stock one you can add. Not sure on the cost as it was part of the whole package I paid when Mardy imported my L400
