Importing a delica

Good day,
I am new to importing and just wondering if any of you gurus could help with a question.

1) Since I don't live in Vancouver can the required paperwork like the soil inspection and customs fees etc be done from home in K town? So all I have to do is fly down to Van pay the De-Stuffing fees etc .... throw on some plates from my current Delica and burn off into the sunset ( I had hoped to do all the complience details and Reg once home) or do I have to give my self several days in Van to make it all happen?

if you dont want to be in vancouver for 2 or 3 days dealing with the paperwork, like me, contact al thompson at courtney agencies http://www.courtney.bc.ca/
the charge fro customs brokerage is about $260 on top of the $500 or so you pay for the duties, soil inspection etc...

Yes, you can ask 3rd company to do your importing procedures.
All you need to do is send them a copy of Export certificate, Translation of Export certificate, Invoice, Advice note, B/L if necessary.
