FS: 98+ Delica L400 Space Gear Headlights

Post by Kei King »

These are the headlights that some dealers are modifying to fit the 1994 and 1995 L400 Space Gear to pass the provincial inspection and to drive legally.

It actually looks very nice if time is taken and done properly. This is not a direct fit and modification will be needed.

Great alternative considering the 94-97 OEM Mitsubishi Lights are worth $1100.

To answer a question I have received, these are the correct LHD version. The ones on EBAY UK are for right hand drive.

could you post a picture of them in a 1994-1996 delica? (the one you post is 1997 or later delica with very different body style, would be nice to see how these look in the application they would be used in)

Would be interesting to see what the fitment is like. If you have any pictures, please do share. Could be a sigh of relief for many people out there concerned with the lack of E coded lights on the market.

Hello, There is a dealer in surrey that is using this, though he does not put the filler piece. Please search craiglist for his post.

Depending on the width to be filled after these are installed. It may be possible to run a string of LEDs along to fill the gap. Get that AUDI look. 8-) ...You can buy 12 volt LED strings about 12" long. Some of the guys in one of the WRX clubs I belong to heat their lights in the oven to open them and then insert the string actually inside the light them melt them shut again. Looks very good. You would not need to go to all that trouble if there is a gap there just waiting to be filled.. Just a thought..Cheers :-)

Good to have an alternative and at less cost than the original Mitsu one's.

I'm surprised they lasted this long.
