factory ariels

hi guys,
would like to know what the use is for the 2 duel ariels that sit above both driver & passenger doors.
they also have mitsubishi printed on them
trying to upload an attachment (photo) but can't work out how to do it.can any one help!
i'm not the best on a computer learning

G'day.. I suspect TV and sat nav.. Most of the stuff is removed from Delicas when they arrive in Oz as they don't work here. Even the standard double din radio wont work properly without a band expander to help it with reception, even then they are not the best and the station ID numbers on the radio don't match the station. eg station 96.5 will read 86.5. The sat navs don't have Oz software and although many clever people have tried to get it to work , nobody has succeeded. The best thing is to wizz it all off and get a new stereo. If budget is tight, Magna ones will plug straight in and are available for $20 at your local wrecker. Be careful taking the surround off from around the radio, there are clips as well as screws and it will crack if you do not know where the clips are to pries it out. Cheers..

I wouldn't say "factory" aerials, however it is interesting to know that they are mitsubishi branded... I'm sure they aren't doing anything useful for you anymore (likely TV, most TV setups in these things seem to use dual antennas). Likely they can also be removed easily enough.
