Spare Tire Roof Rack Idea from Military G Wagen

Since I got the G Wagen I have been surfing the forums and came across this spare tire roof rack that also holds 2 jerry cans. The unique feature on the spare tire rack portion is that it slides out and folds down the side of the vehicle giving easy access to the spare. Something like this could be fabricated for the Delica, for the G wagen this option is $2500. I thought somebody here looking to relocate the spare might appreciate this type of rack:

That thing is great and would not be too hard to fab up. good idea.
