Re: Looking for a starter motor (diesel engine)
The best recommended for Delica parts: MardyDelica at Amazing Autos (Richmond) http://www.amazingautoimports.com (used / rebuilt), or Glen at Coombs http://ccautos.ca (used / rebuilt). John at http://www.rockymountainimports.net can get you new parts. They all regularly courier parts to everyone.
Do you need help from The Community with your starter problem?? Just post if so.
Good Luck, Christine.
EDIT: I just read your other post, so you're back home in Pemberton from Calgary (congrats on driving it without stopping). If you're really stumped, we could arrange our Delica group camping trip to go to Pemberton next weekend (find us a large open area to Circle The Wagons and have a campfire), we'll bring your replacement starter, and offer moral support and our repair manuals, and return your old starter. Christine.
