glow plugs again...

ok so I installed my new glow plugs awhile bag, but the Delica continued to give me grief in the cold. The initial glow plug relay doesn`t click off until almost 2 minutes when it is -4 degrees celsius. When the engine is warm it can still take 60 seconds before it clicks off. I am not talking about the 2nd relay that switches off once the engine reaches operating temperature.
I put a multimeter on the busbar and found that when the ignition is switched on the voltage meter takes its sweet time (as I said 1-2 minutes +) counting up to 4.6 volts and then it switches off the circuit.

If I advance the key further to the point just before ignition, it will again count up to 4.6 volts and shut off the circuit.

I think I have the quick start circuit

what gives?

go manual glow, i installe da few of these and they work like a damn, cheaper than the superglow system in the end and no more frustration with the bad starting PLUS you can still hold down the glow once it is running to even out the engine idle at cold...

(i am crushers there too)
