Hi to James from Whistler / visiting Calgary

Imagine my surprise when I came home on Tuesday to find a Delica parked in the driveway across the street. So I went over, and talked to James. His in-laws live across the street, and he and his wife were visiting from Whistler -- sadly, for a funeral.

He picked up his Delica only a week before from Japanoid. It is a White/Black 8-seater, high roof without CrystalLite. He traded in a Subaru Sanbar for it.

We had good chat, went for a drive around the block in each other's. He's looked at the forum, but hasn't joined yet.

When he sees this, he'll know he's being welcomed.

After having travelled all over the world, I can honestly say, it truly is a small world. Interesting how that sort of thing even happens home. Good story.

I invited him to the meet, but on Sunday they will be driving back to Whistler. I'll probably put a note on his windshield inviting him just for the Tim's part. Hope he joins up on the forum soon.
