New Owners in Surrey / White Rock, BC

Hi Everyone,

Under duress, I submitted to becoming a delica rhoadie earlier this year. My better half Arnold (hopefully he'll show up here but had troubles joining the forum today) loves back mountain camping and sleeping under the stars with his head on his backpack and I love camping in a 4 star 5th wheel knowing bears are not going to eat me for lunch. There was no way he'd comprise for our nissan sedan hauling a tent trailer so here we now are...Delica owners ;)

Our Delica Exceed 91' that we imported from Japan by ourselves was the happy medium we came up with. I've got a safe haven from bears and he has the vehicle of his dreams...hmmmm...I think that doesn't add up correctly ;) I do know ever since he was in Africa, his dream was to buy two of these delicas and weld them together into a long camper/shaggin/bus. He can tell you more about that! Did I tell you he also wants to buy land, plop an old 747 on it and live in it? My future looks bright doesn't it? NOT!

Anyhow, easier to just give one a try and get involved in the social network of it all. So here we are in White Rock, BC and looking for social fun with other Delica drivers at this forum.

Hey, do you guys have some secret wave, rhythmic honk or something? If not, we should! It would be like the annoying punch buggy you feel on your arm whenever you see a volkswagon. Right now all most do is wave or nod and passing and give Arn a delicate pinch on the check.
