Thanks for the info!

Hey all! I bought a 1990 Delica exceed just two weeks ago and so far I am loving it but I havent really found my inner deisel mechanic yet. I am fully stoked on the ride but I am afraid that I dont know enough about it to keep up the maintenance myself so I thank you in advance for all the info on this site. Im using the van for work right now but Im most excited to get to all those trailheads far off in the mountains that I could not get to in my Tercel. I am also looking to install a bed of sorts and cant wait to take it ski touring. Seems to run well so far but it sounds like most others have more power when going uphill and also blows a good cloud of black smoke while starting and while doing more than 60 k/hr uphill. Ive been told to clean the fuel injector... any other suggestions? Also is there a basic maintenance schedule on this site somewhere that will keep me trucking along?

thanks

Hi, welcome and congrats on your new bus!

If you want your bus to last you it would be a good idea to get it initially serviced by one of the recommended shops. Your profile doesn't say where you're from so can't suggest anyone for now... As you may not know the history of your bus I repeat myself here and suggest to get her fully checked, she will rewards you!

If you go on the forum called WIKI on this site you'll find tons of info for parts number and maintenance tips.

Enjoy your ride!
