SERVICE PACKAGE FOR DELICA **INJECTION PUMP**

Post by mdrive »

MOST DELICA' S WILL HAVE FUEL PUMP LEAKING PROBLEM DUE TO NOW AVAILABLE LOW SULFUR DIESEL, LESS SULFUR MEANS LESS LUBRICATION. TO REBUILD INJECTION PUMP, YOU NEED ABOUT 12 SEALS & O-RINGS REPLACED. Call for Price.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

No need to double post though. I think the dealer/service area is the best place to keep these for easy referencing.

If your fuel pump needs anything beyond a few new o rings, that is if you actually have damage to the pumping elements them selves. Then reconditioning the pump is not really cost effective.

If you are going to the trouble of removing and replacing a damaged pump you are probably better off changing it outright.

If the pump is a little dusty from minor leakage and isn't leaving a puddle on the ground, just leave it be.
