Hi folks,
I generally do not name my vehicles but it's big and white so i'm calling it "The Marshmallow", although once i told my wife this she immediately dubbed me the "Stay puft marshmallow man". I think i did myself a disservice with choosing the van name.
I had scheduled two separate test drives today but the first one with terra2 was sold before i had a chance to see it, let alone test drive it, so that was scratched off the list.
My next stop was at maximum overdrive, recommended by a member here, so i went over earlier than i had planned and looked at a couple of low roof exceeds that they had ready to go.
I liked how the white automatic Delica looked so i took it for a test drive and really enjoyed my first RHD experience, although i must admit i did turn the wipers on a few times while trying to signal! The mirrors on these vans are amazing, you could probably squeeze very easily into some small spots with these things to help you.
There is also a basic slide open type sunroof on this van, i'm not a big fan of sunroofs but i didn't detect any water damage from it leaking so i'll take a chance with it.
For some reason i had it in my head that these vans would be smaller than a full size van but they seem to be comparable in size, the more room the better because i like to take naps in my car, i have two jobs and three hours between the end of one and the start of another so catnaps are a lifesaver.
It seemed like a good deal, a six month warranty is included and they seem to do a good service on it, so i put a deposit and will pick it up tomorrow!
Pictures will go up here either tomorrow or the next day.
Andre

You could just the Stay Puft moniker instead: Still Puft, Staying Puft, The Puftster, Puftmallow, Staymallow, etc.

Re: Picking up "The Marshmallow" tomorrow
Of course there can be two Delicas with the same name. It's like naming kids - you give your child the right name for them, even if you know someone else with it.
Two Marshmallows are absolutely fine.
Besides, if you want to get technical, they are spelled differently: one is called "Marshmellow" the other "Marshmallow". In fact, it's called "The Marshmallow" so really Marshmallow is its second name.
If plans for Delica-domination in Canada come to fruition, there will have to be the repeating of names at some point. That's why we're going to name our soon-to-be-delivered Delica "Exceedus Maximus Granola Marshmallow Marshmellow Gumdrop L'il Miss Bitchy TardisDeli". I think it has a real ring to it.

I'm hurt that you didn't include "Moon" in there somewhere...The Pinkfingers wrote:Of course there can be two Delicas with the same name. It's like naming kids - you give your child the right name for them, even if you know someone else with it.
