USED PARTS UPDATED 7th FEB.....

Seeing as I will be coming over on the 18th March for definite, I have decided to pack just the bare essentials and use most of my luggage allowance to bring over parts for you guys.... :D :D

I'll break it down into 4 areas:

 New parts that you want me to buy for you (service items etc)
 Parts that I make
 Used parts that I have got
 Used parts you would like me to try and get

Obviously I won't be able to bring everything over and I have to consider size as well as weight (so NO ladders or rrof crates I'm afraid! :( )

Please use this thread to list things from any of the four categories and I'll see what I can do. Please do not PM, keep it public and so will I, so that everone else can see what I'll be bringing or what I have or what I can get....

I hope this makes sense?

Regards,

Bruce.

hi bruce, thanks for the offer. does the front map light replace the older style . can i pull off the one i have and replace it with the newer style that you have. i assume it is the newer style with the two small map lights and the larger interior light attached. mine has the older slide rectangle without the map lights. if i can just replace it as i think it must be possible consider it sold.

Bruce,

Sign me up for the stainless wing mirror kit. Is is passenger or driver/passenger, as only my passenger wing mirror bar has some surface corrosion (only rust I could find on the vehicle), all other components on the mirror are fine?

Cheers!!

Hi Bruce,
I'm looking for cinch up type seatbelts for the captains chairs. I have the standard inertia locking ones that are no good for child/baby car seats. If you have any there or know of where to get some, I will gladly pay for them.

Cheers.

Authentic Fog Lamps?!?!

Post by delicanuck »

Hi Bruce,
Still have those original fog lamps? Still got room in your bag? If yes to both, I'd like to buy those lamps! If you happen to have mounting hardware/wiring hardware, I'll buy that too. Gee! It looks a bit like your having a moving sale.

Bruce could you put me down for two DELICA stickers! $3.50 is a steal.

Would you be able to source out an exhaust manifold? I have a pin hole leak on the 1990 and think I should tackle it as soon as possible.

Are those the quad headlights mounting assemblies! If so that would be great to mount on a 1991 or newer to pass inspection and run some cheaper replacement lights. It was a big improvement on my 1990 changing to high quality, readily available, and properly aimed lights. For someone around here needing to pass inspection on a new arrived Delica this be a economical option. :D

I don't want to order too many heavy things; Just imagine Bruce stuck in major airport trying to explain the large and oddly shaped pieces of metal in his luggage.

Mystery Machine wrote:* MM Heavy duty 2" shackles (gives the rear a proper 1" lift) $180
Bruce,

How do you get a lift out of the front? Will the torsion bars wind it tall enough to match the 1" lift on the back? If so I am up for that (maybe I'll PM you)... and do you know of any heavy duty torsion bars for the Delica?

Oh and sign me up for a couple DeliCA stickers, and a few MM stickers as well. Thanks. How many more days now?

Hi Guys,

I'll get around to answering your requests tomorrow - it has taken me most of the day to dig out, photograph, price and list all the items above! (the list has been UPDATED with lots of new parts and is now complete with photos of each item!! :D :D )

Check out the new list and see if there is anything you want/need.

I have tried to list things that I know I can pack in a suitcase.

The price of the 'newer model' complete seatbelt system is based not only on the whole system, but also the fact that it will take a LARGE proportion of my luggage allowance (both size & weight!), so I have priced it accordingly!

Hope this all makes sense??

Regards for now,

Bruce.

P.S. I'll update the pics of the new parts later this week....

P.P.S. Sorry Josh - I priced the rear lift shackles wrong! They are $190 not $180!!! SORRY!!!! :(

Hi Bruce,

Regarding seatbelts. If you are willing to split it up, I would like either:
2 x 3-point seatbelts for the rear captain chairs
OR
2 x cinch-up seatbelts that I could replace the inertia seatbelts with.

If its a hassle no big deal. It would just be a clean solution for putting the children in those captains chairs.

Oh and MM gear for me please!

Bruce -- I'll want three of your Delica stickers for my own use. As I'm still "without Delica", one sticker will be proudly displayed on my Mercedes 300D; the other in my Odyssey van. The third decal will (of course) be reserved for my (soon-to-be-located) new Delica.

As I mentioned to you by phone, I'll be pleased to serve as local distributor for the official Delica stickers, etc. once you return to the UK.
