I think this may be an old posting, if so I apologize.
I am looking at Silkroad Autos in Surrey, Maximum OverDrive in Richmond, and JapanAuto in Abbotsford....any reviews on these companies would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about silkroadautos. Karim and Abdul are extreemly honest and good hearted people. I bought my first Delica off of Karim and he has helped me in every way possible with the others I have imported. Anyhow, all I can say is that you cant go wrong with them. Karim has become a great close friend even though I lve so far away now.

You want to buy from Mardy (MardyDelica on this site). Trust me. The guy not only stands behind his products, but also loves Delis, drives one himself, and can provide replacement parts, both new and used as well as excellent after purchase support.collector wrote:I think this may be an old posting, if so I apologize.

He has an experienced Deli mechanic available, so any issues you might have (knock on wood) can easily be taken care of through him.
He has an excellent -and well deserved- reputation within the community.

I bought mine thru Maximum Overdrive. Sabbir was very informative, no pressure and with his service package the vehicles come ready to go... all you have to do is maintain them like any other vehicle. He has a good stock of parts, filters, etc as well. Friendly people!
Went back yesterday to order one of his bolt-on trailer hitches and he mentioned he has a supplier with all sorts of Delica accessories but needs to order bulk so the more interest he gets from us, the more goodies that will be available. Would like to see a list or catalogue of available items which I think would generate more interest too.
This old hot-rodder would like to see our unique vans continue to become more unique as their popularity gains strength and be on a level with the domestic market accessories.
I know, I just went off on a tangent, but i guess it's a good demonstration of the level of enthusiasm Delica owners have for their vans.

Wow-thanks guys. That's a lot of food for thought. I am sort of leaning towards JapanAuto because while their prices seem a little higher, they include a one year drivetrain warranty. (expandable to 3 yrs).
I am putting my car up for sale on the weekend-anyone interested in an '03 Corolla CE 5 spd with 70,000KM? Asking $12K, but I can be motivated.....
