Hi Delica Expert,
I want to how should i lifted my 2wd L300 in correct manner. I have already got the maximum height from the torsion bars and installed one spacer to chassis. But i didn't installed any spacer to the upper arm ball joint.
my expectation is get the 4wd vehicle height to my 2wd delica. I believe this is not impossible.
Please help me and let me know your opinions regarding this and if you have any photos about lifted spacers please post those here for me
Thanks and Regards

Not sure why you want to jack up your 2WD.... more importantly you should spend money on periodic maintenance instead... first of all you should not play with the torsion bars heights as it doesn't really help your suspension set
Up. by using the torsion bar you just end up having less upright movement and more down stroke... and possibly racking your shocks and offsetting your overall height... now my guess is that the front end is higher than the back... right? You just need to get proper rear
Spring bushing spacers... or by removing your rear ubolts and adding spacer to your upper axle... remember to always follow
Proper torque procedures as well as drive axle angles! Cheers

Re: How should Lift 2WD Drive L300?
Hi,
Thanks for your replay, I can understand your idea. normally 2wd rear spring fixed below the differential axle that is the normal situation but my 2wd delica rear spring is not gone under the differential axle, its fixed upper side on differential axle (Like 4wd) therefore still rear side height is little high than front side. So what my requirement is lift the front side height also.
So installing spacer to the upper arm ball joint would help me for this?
Please assist me
Thanks and Regards

4WD front suspension has a wishbone lower arm, so we don't have caster changes when it moves up and down.
2WD front suspension has a lower control arm and radius rod, so the caster is going to change as you lower it. You're going to have to move all the lower suspension mount points down- spacers between the crossmember and chassis, as well as the radius rod bracket thingy. Then add a spacer between the top ball joint and the top A-arm. (Bear in mind that this is all theoretical- I've never paid much attention to the greasy bits of a 2WD L300).
Just adding the ball joint spacer will give you more suspension travel, but won't solve the caster change problem.

Re: How should Lift 2WD Drive L300?
HI,
Thanks for the comments friend, When i buy this 2wd delica previous owner has done some lifted to the vehicle but he forgot to install a spacer in between upper arm bolt joint and upper arm. but he has installed the spacer between crossmember and chassis, and rear spring placed on the differential axle. Therefore rear height quit similar to 4wd delica but when i see my vehicle i am feeling front side needs to be lifted little more. So friends i want fulfill that different.
Hope you can undestand

Ok, if there's already a spacer on the crossmember then all you should need is another spacer between the top arm and balljoint.

Hi,
Yes that's what i was expected answer
thanks a lot. I have a good engineer he is a expert about this kind of things. so next question is what ever change i have done safety should be kept in mind right? because i am not sure how this affect to the safety of the vehicle and the balance. anyway i am not expecting to install the big spacers i just want around 2-3inch height only.
Thanks and Regards

How should Lift 2WD Drive L300?
HI all,
I have one doubt sometimes this might be a stupid question. I just want to know is there any maximum and minimum movement are there for upper arm and lower arm? if so what is the standard movement of upper arm and lower arm (Before arms movement stop by rubber stoppers).
Hope its clear
Thanks and Regards
