Trying to replace the simple cassette stereo to a modern one has shut down my stock LCD screen which controls my temperature gauges..
Has anyone replaced this tape deck and can provide some insight?

Not sure how wide your option search is but I went to Performance Car Stereo in North Van eight years ago ~ they are thorough & know their onions. They back their work and are straight up. Their number is (604)-986 1171.

For anyone having this same issue that I had. My LCD touch screen is back working perfectly alongside my new (Single DIN) head unit. I hooked up the stereo to my AUX battery and it all turned on. Kinda mysterious why and not sure if the power source was the issue. Just wanted all to know it is possible to ditch the old tape deck while still having digital climate controls.
