New exhaust, Free Boost

I'm halfway through my exhaust upgrade, I've gone from the factory flange up to 4", which is currently straight piped. Aside from being WAY too loud, my van used to struggle to hit 12 psi. Now it pops right up to 14 almost as soon as I go to WOT. Makes a huge improvement in power, driveability, and EGT. Hopefully it stays that way when I get the muffler on.

I'm hacking together a bunch of free stuff I've picked up over the last year. The 4" came from a GM pickup. You can't really go to big on a turbo engine, and free is free.

4" is excessive as it exceeds the diameter of the turn dump. But 3" can work with this mod.

I saw that and I am quite jealous you can do that. All my tools (welder, grinders, etc) are in storage across the province

FWIW regarding the 4" diameter... In the Dodge Cummins community, a 4" exhaust is thought to provide enough flow for upwards of 500 HP. 5" becomes beneficial above the mid 500s, or for bench racing bragging rights. With a fueling box, bigger injectors and twin turbos maxing at 53psi boost, I'm probably in the mid to high 400 HP range at the wheels and rarely get to 1200F egts.

In other words, it would be cool to see on a Delica and I don't think it'll be your bottle neck.
