First Delica

[Sunseeker]

Greetings Everyone,

I would like to introduce you to my first Delica baptised the Sunseeker. Hailing from the land of the rising sun, I hope to drive it to sunny destinations. It is a L400 super exceed long body version with a crystal lite high roof and just under 88k. It is a gas version with a 6G72 engine.
The body is in great shape.
However, a few gremlins have already appeared:

--The sunroof motor makes a chattering noise and will not close immediately.
--the overhead light between the crystal roofs has burned out


Also it smells like an ashtray and there is some surface rust on the undercarriage.

Would anyone have any suggestions to rid the van of cigarette odors?

Does anyone have any recommendations for rust removal and undercoating?
