Can anyone say what mileage these would get on 100% bio-diesel (i.e. from the Vancouver Bio-diesel co-op)?
Also, if there is knowlege of any particular type of Delica that would perform better on Bio-diesel please let me know.
Thanks.

Re: Delica's and biodiesel
All of the diesel fueled Delicas should run fine on high quality biodiesel, however you need to be aware that there are rubber components in the fuel system (hoses and gaskets in the fuel pump) that are not compatible with methyl esters and need to be replaced or they'll eventually turn into goop and mess up your engine.
Fuel economy seems to vary from vehicle to vehicle, so it really depends what it's getting in the first place to know what it might get using biodiesel, but in theory it should get slightly less fuel economy due to slightly less energy per liter of fuel than dio, but it's entirely possible to be getting better fuel economy due to other factors like a more complete burn in the combustion chamber.
