Injection Pump Issues

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Injection Pump Issues

Hi everyone , i'm from quebec , i have mitsubishi Delica L300 , the injection pump was reconstructed , Engine is perfect but sometime it turns very fast without reasons.. why ? the filter is new .. can you help me plz? ( sorry for my english )

Are you talking about the idle speed? if so you can adjust that with the screw on the top of the injection pump pushing against the cam where the throttle cables attach to. normal idle in gear should be about 750rpm I think. when mine is really warm in neutral it idles at 1000, but i assume that is normal

Also, check the accelerator cable has some slack. it should have 2mm or so of free play when the engine is idling.
Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

The stock idle should be set around 750 in neutral, high beams on, warm, with the auto. May need to adjust higher if running poorly/cold. (use throttle lock for this)
