Can't help you with the Dometic awning but you could try the Omnistor awning, Omnistor is a member of the Thule company and i think they have Canadian branches, http://www.thulegroup.com/en/ or http://www.omnistor.com

On top of 600 plus$, you need to add $90 mounting brackets and $50 Tension Rafter. Too much $$ for some shade when I can throw a trap with poles up in 10 minutes or less.
Try the wreckers.
