...but it is still a Japanese vehicle.
Long story short: we've been through a number of vehicles and trailers - and combinations of each - and after seven years we agreed that what we really needed/wanted was a truck. And so, voila: our 2-yr-old Nissan Titan, crew cab, 4x4.
This is not goodbye, just a new chapter. I've enjoyed my RHD's for the past number of years - they're some of my favourites vehicles, ever - but it is going to be nice to own a vehicle that isn't 15+ years old, still has a warranty, has less than 100,000 km on the odometer, and is able to tow more than a tonne without wheezing like a 2-pack-a-day smoker.
I'll see you 'round the circuit - I'd still like to hang out with the group on the camp outs and the gatherings and the Tomahawk Restaurant breakfasts. If you'll have me.

Hey Paul - I don't think it would be appropriate to put a Mitsumaple on it but one of your Mitsu Flags would look great. I guess your just in time for the gas wars on the Island.

Funny I see more Titans than Tundras these days, wonder if Toyota is getting too pricey. Nice truck!

Now that I have one, I'm seeing that trend as well. Most of the reviews favoured the Titan for it's towing/torque numbers over the Tundra - maybe that's what it's all about.sasquatch-hunter wrote:Funny I see more Titans than Tundras these days, wonder if Toyota is getting too pricey. Nice truck!
Price was the premier issue for me.

Sigh... First you sold your bus for a Pajero and now this. Ahh well. The truck I had for 15 years before I got my bus was a Nissan - still lives just down the road and has a good life with a sahlal picker. Long lived and reliable. If we ever have another Vancouver Island meet I'd be disappointed if you didn't turn up - that is assuming I did

Happy Day!

It's a bit of a return for me: my first car was an '82 Datsun 200SX.
And just so people don't think my shiny new, leather-seated with 20" rims truck is never going to leave the pavement I already took it on a bit of an off-road trip. Behold:
