I'm about to purchase my first Delica (L400) in the very near future, from CCA in Coombs. Thanks to Graham for all his help.
Why a Delica...I've always been intrigued by having a 4X4 Van...what better way to pick your kid up from school on a friday and head out to explore the world. Kitting it out for overland trips is going to be so much fun.
Currently I have a Mitsubishi Nativa (Montero Sport) that is my work and play toy in Abu Dhabi (which will proudly be sporting a
sticker on my return trip for work. The BBC series "The Long Way Around" validated Mitsubishi vehicles for me...have not been disappointed yet.
To all the "Wise Folk" on this forum, I look forward to gleaning as much of your knowledge as I can!

Earlier this summer I met a couple from the UK at the MEC in North Van (sorry I don't remember their names), they started their journey in the UK, have crossed Canada, and plan to go on to South America!! If you're a member here, safe trip, and may you enjoy every "road less taken"! If you have the opportunity to meet them, they are wonderful, take the time to see their Delica, and how well it's kitted, he's a very proud owner (as he should be!!) They are a testimonial to the hidden adventurer in all of us!
