Rotella T6 5W40 synthetic.

Used rotella for years in my rotaries, as it has a better additive package than gas motor oils. Synthetics have shown better fuel economy in my other cars, I can't compare in the deli as I've only run synthetic.

After a non-stressful day at work and an exhausting explosive evening, I enjoy sitting back on my couch and watching classics. If the mood strikes me, Skyrim is my current flavor.

5w40 Rotella Full Synthetic in Winter
15w40 Amsoil Full Synthetic in Summer

Works for me. Like them both. Went thicker in the summer as I found 5w40 was a little too light in the summer heat for my liking, great for the winter cold though.

So, besides the stats and research (company funded of course)....... how many here have had pre-mature engine failure do to the "quality" of the oil and oil filter? Seems to be over the decades that regular oil changes with standard oil and filter maximizes life of an engine just fine. Just wondering why all the "buy in" to the company funded over priced oil change products? Not calling out the research, save that for another day, but with standard/normal oil changes, engines easily make their pre-determined rebuild mileage and then some.

unless you have the money and like to put an oil brand sticker on your rig I guess.......
