Fog light covers

Post by Eldreds »

Does anyone know where we can get new fog light covers? I have searched everywhere (including the archives here) and can't find any. One of ours is broken. They are the original solid plastic type, but I like the mesh style ones too. Any suggestions?

One thing to keep in mind: if the centre-line of the fog lamps is lower than the centre-line of the headlamps, you DO NOT need to cover the fog lights.

Only those fixed lights with centre-lines ABOVE the centre-line of the headlamps are required by law to be covered when on a highway (i.e. not off-road in the weeds and trees).

I'm just saying that in case some Johnny Lawman was giving you the gears about your fog lights.

That being said, yes, the grilled lights trim with the word "Pajero" in the middle, those are the coolest. Good luck finding them.

The BC Motor Vehicle Act Regulations has the particulars about lights. It's an interesting read.

The centre of the fog light must've below the centre of the headlight or the entire fog light?
