York Peninsula South Australia with photo's

With my work I get to travel the state of South Australia.
I took some photo's as I drove around today.
I thought I would share some pictures with you.



This was taken just north of Wallaroo(known for fishing and farming)



This was taken at Balgowen which is south of Wallaroo(sleepy holiday fishing town)


This was taken just outside of Maitland(farming centre of York Peninsula)


This was taken on my way to Port Julia(The roads are nearly all dirt but are good and wide)


This is Port Julia(it is a very pretty spot)


Finally this fairly well sums up the scenery on Yorke Peninsula.

Cool! Thanks for posting these shots. I like how the peninsula looks like a mini Italy. My girlfriend was born in Maitland and grew up Whyalla. Going to be heading the other way on our upcoming trip (towards Melbs) but I do see a journey to the York some day.
