Window won't close properly - Anyone had this issue?
My passenger side window on my L300 doesn't want to close properly. The motor is working and all the electronics are fine, but as it goes up, about 3/4 of the way to the top it seems to get off kilter (leans a bit towards front of the vehicle) and gets stuck. I can manually grab it and pull it straight again and it'll go the rest of the way fine, but really annoying.... I pulled off the interior of the door panel, inspected the mechanism (seems to be fine, bolts tight etc.), lubricated the moving parts, even "shimmed" one of the side guide rails - and still off balance. Any suggestions?

Try wiping a little wd-40 on the edge to lube up the glass a bit.

Happy Day!

trying searching for "window clips" if you don't have them installed the window doesn't line up - especially at speed.

I actually had the same problem on my way back to salty it's a main x frame bolt that holds it all together on the door frame behind the panel itself. my window completely fell in the door luckily I figured it out but the first symptom was the off kilter roll up to start,
the window is stableized on two window slots on the inner track if the window is miss aligned the window pane does not line up with the window seal around the door , take off the door panel and where the pane sits on it's track behind the inner door frame it may not be straight or just off by a tad bit mine needed some adjustment after I put it back on the tracks to get her right again now no problem.
My driver side window started to Doing the same I repeated the final stage and she works just like new .
Cheers

Hmm, yeah it looked like it was seated okay on those rails, but I'll take another look. Anyone know where to get these "window guide clips"? It seems like some folks have had some success with them. Cheers.

I got mine a few years back from a mitsu dealer in Calgary in the SE- there's a part number on here somewhere, just don't mention that it's a delica and you'll be fine. As soon as you mention it's a Delica or RHD it can magically make them unable to find the part number. I think they were $10?

Re: Window won't close properly - Anyone had this issue?
I picked a pair of those up from the Mitsubishi dealership for DeliCat a year or two back, less than ten bucks at the time. They already knew me because I had been petitioning them for Delica Parts and they were telling me that this was impossible. When I came through the door they told me that it was futile and I asked them if they could just look up this part number, they reluctantly agreed exclaiming that they wouldn't find it. Four minutes later they came back out with the part in their hand, saying "I don't believe it, we have the part" and I replied "who would've thought? A Mitsubishi dealership having a Mitsubishi part.... hmm".
