tube bumpers
I'm looking to stealth out my Deli with some black tube bumbers (my Deli is Grey and Black, white bumpers just don't work), I would love to remove them myself and sand and paint them to save some bucks, has anyone done this, if so what the best option for the most durable paint? Also can anyone recommend a good place to have have them powdercoated professionaly (in the lowermainland) if I get lazy and don't feel so cheap.

Re: tube bumpers
I did a quick sand and paint on my front bullbars, used flat black anti-rust paint from Princess Auto but the finished look is more like pearl... looks really nice but it is starting to get rock chips, so I'll be re-coating soon.

Re: tube bumpers
I understand the desire to do the bumper, but I would never powder coat the front bumper on anything, Its Crazy expensive and scratches up so easy, I had alot of things powder coated with my last RV and was not impressed at how easy it all got scratched up. a good tough pait is just as good and you can touch that up easy, but its your call. what about taking some thin aluminium checker plate and wraping it around the tubes, rivit it to the main bull bars, Ive seen that done and it looks very bad ass.

Re: tube bumpers
Another options I'm planning to go with is Rhino or Bedliner. Mine are white as well on a dark grey / light grey Exceed so and bedliner only comes in dark grey I think. I also understand it's quite reasonable from cost point of view - thought admit I have not fully checked it out yet. I have serious delamination on my roof paint as well - so intend to do the entire roof from the gutter up, and the bull bars. The Rhino roof will allow me to mount my canoe (and hopefully future Kayak) directly to the roof with only foam footies - no scratches etc etc to worry about. Well, that's the plan anyway. Intend to post photos once done and hoping to get around to it prior to Christmas Visa season!!!!

Rhino the roof? Sounds like a good idea. Would be interested to see how that turns out.
