My friendly local body shop says best to not use the colour code sticker, instead get a computer colour match as the paint has changed because of UV sunlight etc.
IF you want to contact my guys, I don't think they have a website. Dumores Collision, 7313 6th Street, Burnaby, BC V3N 3L2 (604) 527-0504. I know 2 local owners of white delicas who tried similar white matching themselves via spray cans but the difference was very noticeable. Christine.

The other problem with applying new paint of today onto old paint of yesterday is chemical differences: Canada went lead free and water-based a little while ago, so whatever you're going to apply might not adhere the same way.

Agree with second poster as well: the white on your van isn't "white" any more after nearly 20 years of sunlight and environmental grime. Any touch-ups you do are going to stand out against original - a complete repaint is usually best.

And that's my nickel's worth.

thanks for the info guys!

Ill see what the paint shop can do in regards to matching it, otherwise I'll just get them to use the code.

I'm in Australia so probably a bit too far to get to your local spots haha.

the main painting is the front bumper so if its slightly different im not to bothered.

cheers

Dan.
