Hey guys.. I'm looking to buy an Espar hydronic heater on ebay. I know a few of you have installed them. Is there a detailed, step by step, guide here for installing on a L300? With pictures? Tried the search function but no joy.
If I do snap and buy one I'll probably try to install it myself.

Re: Installing an espar heater
Thanks man.. that helps.. I guess I was looking for more of a Espar for Dummies. You know, with pictures and diagrams. Something that leads me almost by hand to the end.
Once I get it I`m sure I`ll be back on here screaming for help.

do you speak German ? If so, there is an abundance (German forums) of espar installs in VW's that would help reference your install.

Re: Installing an espar heater
I've installed quite a few of the Webasto heaters, basically the same as an Espar. I could probably try to talk you through it. I had drawn a rough diagram, but it got misplaced in the summer. Last install was on an l300 this spring for another forum member, I could check and see if I can get a picture of its location to help guide you. Any snow your way yet? I'm hoping to make a quick trip to Ponton this week.

Don't speak german.. just bad english!
Mb Deli.. any diagrams you may have will help for sure.
We had snow up here a few weeks ago but it all disappeared. For the past week or so it's been 3 to 5 above everyday. One of the nicest Octobers Ive seen here.
Ponton eh? You must be going hunting 'cause there ain't too much else to do there!

No hunting, just have to pick up a trailer I had to leave there coming back from Thompson in July. I'll probably come to Thompson and spend the night at my uncles, and then head back to Ponton before day break. No delica this time though, trailer is about 10,000lb

Well if you're going to Thompson we should meet up for coffee.. An unofficial Manitoba meet. I live south of town in Paint lake and have plenty of time on my hands.
