Set of used rims to fit my 95 Pajero

Post by geaddict »

I am looking for a set of rims to put my winter tires on. Can someone tell me what fits the 95 Pajero (2.8) or possibly someone has reasonably priced set for sale?

Thanks.

Toyota, Nissan and some Chevy fit the 6 lug bolt pattern. You just have to watch as some Toyota rims will need the center machined out a bit to fit the larger Mitsu hubs... So just measure to make sure and you can prob find some cheap from craigslist or wrecker. Apparently this is not too costly (boring the hole) at 15 a wheel or so, and if you dig Im pretty sure there is a thread with shop suggestion. Its been a year or two since I've read it.

Also should check the offset, if you went say for a land cruiser or fullsize chev, it may put your tires futher towards the end of the flares. But I know with the paj you would need a good few inches as there is lots of flare.

I have the spare 15" that came with my 94 L400. You can have it for FREE! Only 3 to go!

We have a set of OEM Pajero rims in stock. They are in good shape, willing to let them go for a decent price.

Here you go. I went through the effort a while back and got single rims from a Toyo, NA Mitsu, Nissan D21, XTerra and Chevy Atlas to make sure because this question comes up frequently.

What I've found is the Toyo OEM rims from 92 - current between 15-16" wheels have a 107mm outside bore tappered down to 106mm at the hub side because the Toyo's are hub centric.

If you get one of those Toyo rims, you would have to get the center holes bored out from 106 to 108 flat to fit on the Pajero hub lip.

Most chevy wheels have a center bore between 108 and 110 which fit perfect since the Mitsu's are no hub centric.

Sticky would be good.

You thought correct Falco. It was by me. Took some wheel juggling between a tire and fab shop to get it right.
