Delica price and other JDM prices are going up in Japan!! >.<
Reasons:
-New cars are less selling in Japan these days.
-Less cars at any auctions these days. (USS Tokyo had 20,000 car every week few years ago. Today they only have somewhere around 12,000 cars each week. Within 12,000 cars, Delicas eligible to import to Canada is about 2 ~ 4 cars only!! High Competition to buy a Delica!)
Thanks !!

If new cars are selling for less. that would suggest there is going to be more used cars available at auctions..
points dont really make sence..
however i do agree there is less cars at auction then there used to be back in the day..

People are hanging onto their cars longer if possible and not buying new ones, or not getting into the market to begin with. The same thing is happening in the US as nobody can afford new cars, even at 0 down lol, and its driving used car prices up in the past month.
I am totally ignorant to where the storage docks for the JDM's are, but my one of my suspisions is that there may be less left? Somebody please tell me otherwise.. :(
I'll just have to wait longer to upgrade to the Safari.

Personally, I'd be a little more concerned about potential post-Katrina-esque tsunami-damaged salvage vehicles showing up at the auctions for a while. Assuming they've been given a good clean, it'd be hard to tell from auction pics without having your own inspector go in and take a look.

There are less cars being sold, not "for less" therefore less at auction.

Sounds like what economists call the ol' supply-and-demand thingy.
Get 'em while you can and for what you're willing to pay.
