What is the ampere rating for the inverter and where did you get it?
1000 watt Crappy tire one
no screaming I have it wired directly to the batteries(x2) runs a 5 amp drill no problem, does not run a 10 amp shop vac, I was going to put it in the back inplace of the kareoke machine but I wanted the plug ins to be obvious so I don't forget em and use all the juice and it used up the blank space nice. The outlet is wired with a standard 110 plug that just plugs into the verter.I put it in bfore our road trip last summer to avoid buying 12 v plugs for all our toys.

My plan was for the same inverter (1000watt from canadian tire) and to put it where the sound-stage was in the back, but I may wire a warning light up front to let me know if I leave it on...

I use an cheapo Cambodian Tire 450 watt inverter in my van and it doesn't scream too much, but the battery has to be in good shape, mine's not the greatest so just a few seconds of the heater fan running without the engine on will drop the battery too much, but will run my laptop for hours when fully charged.

Hey that was 2008 and they did switch out the adjusters on my headlights for no money . A subsequent visit left me with some questionable advise so I never felt comfortable to go back.
....... I got a newsletter from them a couple years back that advertised auto service on one side and magic healing on the other side

... I should have kept it , it was good.
