OK I'll bite...
Other car.
E36 that started as a bone stock 325is it now has
18" OZ Superlegarra's, H&R cup kit with at 2.5" drop, Remus cat-back exhaust, Hella euro spec headlights with city bulbs, E46 hid bulbs & ballast, Full moulded Reiger body kit with E46 M3 front end, E46 fog lights, cold air intake, M3 moldings, m3 sideview mirrors with mercedes tunrsignals grafted in, four 10" subs with an 800W RMS Audioban class D amp, no trunk (full of fiberglass, plexi, lights and speakers)
THEN, I got serious about it. I got my hands on M3 calipers front and rear, front go on easy but in order to change the rears you need to change the entire back end of the car... so that's what I did! M3 rear subframe, M3 trailing arms, Euro spec M3 LSD (expensive!), Turner motorsports cross drilled rotors with Pagid track pads, stainless braided lines, M3 half shafts, M5 guibo, M3 front knuckles all new bearings all around and every bushing on the car is urethane.
All of that was in anticipation of an LS1 I was going to drop into it with a "mild" tuning of about 500 hp.... then I got my wife preggo (famous last words) So I LOVE Delica's and all the room they've got! You can drive over speedbumps, down ramps, you don't scoop up roadkill like a spoon and you don't cry as bad when you're kids throw up in them!
Other other car.
Before I got the Delica my kid hauler was a Subaru Loyale wagon. It was the lamest model they made, the 2wd with a 3 speed automatic. I bought it specifically so I WOULDN'T spend any money on it. It worked (more than I thought!) that has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and seems to be indestructible. I hate it so much I have actually TRIED to kill it and it has yet to break down to the point it is un-drivable! I even broke a timing belt once (on purpose) and the damn thing did highway speeds on 2 cylinders! I spent $60 on a timing belt kit on E-bay and it's running smoother than when I bought it! (even after driving it at 80kph for about 10 kilometers!)
My other other other car is a beat up Silvia S12 (not 13, 12 the really oldschool rare one nobody talks about) It's the CA18ET (single overhead cam turbo) engine one, 1988 the last year it was made with full independent suspension (not the most popular one for drifting, solid rear like in the AE86 is more popular). It was going to be made into a racecar at about the same time as I was starting the engine swap. It now sits quietly in storage...
This one is not mine, this was how it was SUPPOSED to end up!
