Inline Coolant heater.

Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

I actually joined to asked this very question. I've been searching online and joined other forums, but apparently most people don't experience Canadian cold, ever few experience Prairie cold. Had some cold start issues, changed out both batteries, and switched to 5w40 full synthetic and have successfully started it after a night of minus 23, but I definitely will need a heater of some sort.
I asked rising sun imports about a frost plug block heater and they said it's a difficult install in these vans.
I asked A local importer (out of the business now) says he always uses circulating heaters, but hadn't installed one on an l400.
I tried to put on a stick on 1000w oil pan heater but the ribs prevented that, as well as a smaller 500w.
My other option is a lower rad heater, so I'd like some input on those as well.

Also this is my first post, I'll take some more time to introduce myself properly once I sort this all out! Had a hell of a time getting an oil filter for the old girl, now this! The jobs of owning an 18 year old diesel import in Saskatchewan.

Might want to give this a look 8-)
Right on thanks a lot!

But how different is it on the delica? I'm at work so I can't take a peak on the deli right now. When I replaced my batteries I noticed the battery tray was broken, so I need to take the intercooler, batteries and tray out anyway, might as well change the fuel filter while I'm in there too.

TBH I don't know since I don't have an L400 to look at. But if it's a 4M-40 I don't see there being any difference to the block or IP layout. Someone commented on that saying he was going to try it on his Deli so maybe PM him and see if he's run into any problems.
