I was cleaning out the garage today and I found this part that I remembered came with the van. It looks like it's part of the air intake system but I can't figure out where. I've looked at all the diagrams that I can find and havent found anything that fits.
Anyone?
What part is this?

Re: What part is this?
It fits underneath the drivers seats. Slide the seat forwards, remove the panel behind and it just slides into place under there.

Re: What part is this?
I just tried again and it won't go. The length looks right but there's no way it will fit with air filter there.
Am I missing a few other pieces?

I don't think you're missing anything. From what I remember it's a tight squeeze. Only one end connects to anything and there is a screw that holds it in place against the side of the vehicle.
This feels like the blind leading the blind. I hope someone else has the proper terminology and some pictures!?

Re: What part is this?
You know there is an intentional gap in the system? I'm not sure which bit that it by looking at it, but it seems like one side of the gap, ah I found a pic:
(url'ed cos its too big it seems)

the gap allows bits of crap and water to drop out of the airstream from the intake pipe that runs forward into the wheel arch.

Re: What part is this?
It's the receiver bit (on the left of the picture that Yojimbo posted the link to). It leads into the air filter unit.
