My head just blew. I'm selling my 91 L300 to the first person with $3000 cash in hand. It's at the CC Auto lot.
New alternator and battery, front brakes, Depo headlights (installed by CC Auto about 6 weeks ago), lots of meat on the tires.
Please, no offers, it's $3000 firm. It'll cost you about $3000 (for parts and labour) to put a new engine in, or to replace the head. You could have a nice looking Deli for around $6000, or you could have a bunch of parts for your van.

Re: L300 Parts vehicle (intact)
I feel like I'm talking to myself here, but the van is back at my place in Nanaimo.
I've thought about parting it out, but then I'm left with a pile of van that I have to haul off to crush.
I'll take offers...I hate doing it, but I need it gone before spring.

Sorry to hear.
If you can do it, you may be better off getting the head done and selling it running otherwise your buyer's market shrinks to those who can tinker and parts vendors that won't pay you much.
Big Delica community in Nanaimo. I'm sure someone will jump on it. Did you advertise it on http://www.delica.ca/trader/?

Sadly, I just spent 9k buying a new van. I don't have a spare 3k laying around to fix a vehicle that has a very small (but very loyal) fanbase.jfarsang wrote:Sorry to hear.

I spoke with Glen at Coombs, and it's 3k to put a new engine in. 3k for the bus and 3k for a new engine, and BLAMMO! You have a 6k Deli that would normally sell for $8500-9000 privately...more if it were on the lot.
