Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
Look at your van
Now look at my van
Now look back at your van
Now look back at my van
Isn't it the van you always wanted your van to be
Got my flares on today, sure makes my tires look small
Did a Lordco paint match
It takes 1.2 spray bombs BTW
Put a small bead of silicone in the groove of the rubber trim
The sliding door works with no modifications
I will probably change out the fasteners for stainless ones
Gotta fiddle with the flaps next
I will likely by some generic ones and carve them to fit
I'm on a horse

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
I used 6 or 7 screws per , about one every 12 inches or so wherever it seemed to need it, just on the inside edge of the fender
Ran short and used a few plain sheet metal screws
I pushed in on the flare VERY firmly to compress the rubber trim before screwing ,this also stiffened it up considerably

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
if you can swap them out with stainless asap as we've got rain coming.
also if you put a dab of silicone on each, you'll plug up the hole from water getting in

Re: Looking for L400 fender flares and Terzo ladder
Looks good! Did you find that colour off the shelf at Lordco? If so what was the brand and part #. I couldn't find a match at CdnTire so decided to go with Black but the proper grey would likely look better.

They cost 20 something a can, the grey seems spot on but the green is just close
they did the photo scan match thing and their computer spat out a genuine mitsubishi colour code!
