700L "ish" of oil , needs to be picked up near Nanaimo

Post by EnviroImports.com »

Hello all you greasy people, I've broken a rib high up on my chest and cant do ANY lifting , I have a business near Nanaimo that needs their oil picked up, its roughly 700L all in cubes, Great quality, but ALL has to be picked up.
Don't post if you want to go by and get a few cubes.

Its Free, and I would much rather the owner not get left hanging because I cant do any lifting for another 4-6 weeks.

the owner is willing to wait for me to heal up, but I have a very nice stock of settled oil, 4000L 8-)
so is anyone wanting a nice stock of free fuel?
post/pm/email, what ever.
I would like to get this going soon.
thanks all

wow, 58 looks at this time, one PM and that person cant go to get the oil, Diesel prices last night here in Victoria was $1.25/L , and no one wants 700L of free bearly used and not burnt wvo.

well, I guess I will get some help and process it and use it for the house furnace.

has the wvo comunity in Vic died?
people have so much oil they cant use the extra?

sure alot different that a year ago when people were cutting locks on wvo containers behind restraunts to "liberate" the fryer oil...
:-?

Yes the oil has since been picked up, I posted that it was not for one or two cubes because its not a drive through and the owner doesent want strangers poking around behind his restaurant near his supplies, who can blame him.
You either have to commit to picking up what's there or ask for scraps from those who are commited , at the time that oil would have easily gone into the back of a L300 or L400 with a tarp down to protect the interior , when I went up to get the oil another 2 restaurants had been left in the wind by other oil pick up people so I filled the box of my pick up truck, 2 levels deep right to the tailgate, and a L400 LWB with the seats removed, also 2 layers deep, we left 5 cubes behind for the next pick up but now that I'm able again, It will be picked up monthly.
