Nope, the rails aren't offset and if I concentrate on sitting straight forwards in the seat, the column is almost in line with my left leg. I think you maybe right because I had never noticed the steering wheel offset when I had the original seat but the first time I sat in the 'bucket' seats I had noticed the offset and wondered to myself 'so how did that happen? Was the original seats offset to the rails to make it center with the steering wheel somehow?' But I had checked and the original seat was not offset and the rails were just normal.... So maybe the original seat is offset then... (Design flaw by Mitsubishi?)
