Anyone else notice that diesel is averaging around 5 cents higher than regular gas now?
I got used to paying $1.099 for most of the summer (while gas was $1.099 to $1.129), now it is consistently $1.189 (while gas is $1.109 to $1.159). It actually cost me over $70 to fill my tank the other day, I've never paid that much for a single tank of fuel before.
Was there a new tax added on diesel only? Any ideas?
Shane

I've also heard that because diesel is similar to heating oil, it's price rises in the cooler months.
Still, it seems early for the prices to rise.... I wasn't aware that there was a winter blend for diesel.

Re: Diesel price hike?
Gas tends to go up and down daily where Diesel tends to go up and down on a much longer cycle.
