New Member with questions - Delica Mechanics in Northern BC

Post by PGDeano »

I am a new member but have been lurking on the site for ages. I have been leaning toward the purchase of a LWB L400. The only concern I have remaining is whether there are good Delica mechanics in Northern BC, preferably in Prince George, which is where I am living. I have seen a few Delicas around in PG(not many) but I don't know where they get serviced or what the quality of the service is like. I know from reading the forum that there are many good service locations at the coast and on the island. Is there anyone in this part of BC that people would recommend?

Lived in PG about 6 years ago.

That town has lots of Diesel mechanics and most know 4x4 should not be hard to find a good shop.

Sorry no Delica recommended shop, but finding a shop should be easy.

(I do all my own work so never dealt with shops much)

I am also in prince george I find that many of the parts I have to get shipped from vancouver but I can get the work done by shops here no problem. Have not had to have any motor work done though but I go to vancouver often so I'll probably book it in with CVI for a tune up when there.

Thanks for the info. As I am in no way a mechanic, it is a very important consideration for me.
