Duffy Lake, Kamloops

Post by deLOOKA »

My first "real" road trip with Delooka. 2yrs later and finally we leave the Lower Mainland. :-D

Duffy Lake, Kamloops is ~40mins North/West of Kamloops off of Hwy #1.

If you are a dirt biker you would love camping at Duffy lake or the surrounding areas.
If not, stay away. All day you see and hear ATVs and Dirt Bikes.
Kids as young as 5 w/training wheels to grandparents in their ATVs. 8-)

Weather went from Sunshine to Snow to Hail to Rain then finally back to blue skies Sunday late afternoon.

Of course being the long weekend, it was very busy as expected.

Wow, what a coincidence ~ I was just camping there whilst doing business in Kamloops. What's really weird is coming out onto the highway and who should drive by but Pedro in the Grisou. I picked the place at random from my old BC Forestry book because it was near by.
