L300 high roof with spiked roof! Vernon BC, May 9th

Post by trialsmaster2 »

Spotted today (May 9th) at noon right around the Earls in Vernon...green over light gold L300 Delica with spikes sticking out of the roof! I know ya saw me and my pooch, since we got a wave while we were behind ya in an identical coloured Delica (minus the crystal lite and spikes) :M

I don't know of too many L300 high roof jade over light gold Delicas running around the Okanagan with spikes sticking out of the roof...so I'm going to guess that I spotted dennis_lambert with his heavy metal roof work. Nice to see another Delica around today!

Right on! No worries about the not stopping too. I was heading that way to see how busy Earl's was for a Mother's Day lunch anyways...so it was pretty much a fluke that I was going the same way :M

I think a meet up is in order, just not sure where or when yet

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking too. No camera with me at the time, but I'm sure Dennis has some pics of his punk rock van :M

Hi there ...
In respect to The Spikes in the roof are not some 80's fetish..there called celecos they are temporary fastners holding the new sheet metal together for welding and riviting which I have not got around to.Trying to Balance Two young kids and my Two Delicas that require work is a juggling act.Hopefully next weekend I will get rid of the Spikes...You guys do have me thinking of adding a purple Mohawk to the roof though!
Luna-sea I am wondering about your coment of " pain in the ass hassle this member
is dealing with" What do you mean exactly"
Cheers.

And here I am with this picture in my head of the love child of a Delica and a Stegosaurus.

Does she have a tail? Now that would look cool!
