good day! i am kris from the philippines and i recently joined the forums because i am in dire need of a 4g64 8v sohc engine... my car's engine is about to die (burning oil badly, pistons are slapping, rockers are noisy, etc.) and i'd rather look for a 4g64 8v sohc engine than have my current engine undergo a general overhaul (which will really cost me a big pain in the ****)... if someone here has an extra 4g64 8v sohc engine (flywheel should have 6 bolts and not 7 bolts and the stamp on the engine should be "4g64" not "g64b") or is thinking of replacing their 4g64 8v sohc engine, i am more than willing to buy the engine from you... i am also willing to pay for the shipping... please don't hesitate to contact me here or through my e-mail (kris_ochinang@yahoo.com)... if you people are looking for a 4d56 engine, i can also help you with that one because we have tons of them here in our country... looking forward to your messages... thanks and godbless...

up! still looking for this engine... i have 1,150kms left of life in my engine before it dies...

might be a silly qiestion but how did you figure out the remain life span to the km?

the engine is already an oil burner... it consumes half a liter of engine oil every 1,000 kilometers with no oil leaks... valve seals and piston rings are worn out... done a compression test to the engine and am not happy with the results... i have more than a thousand kilometes left in the odometer before it resets to 000,000 kilometers... talk about one used engine... and i'd rather get a used running engine that have it undergo a general overhaul since getting a used running engine will save me money...



still looking for a 4g64 8v sohc 6-bolt flywheel engine...

thanks for the tip... but i'm trying to keep my expenses low by directly getting the engine here... maybe someone has this engine in their delica and would want to switch over to a 4d56 and just sell their used engine...
