Some of the work you see in the Caprica series is my work, I am a scenic artist on that series. The Delica is a '92 black over silver Chamonix P35. Pretty much the sister of the Miss Lil' Bitchi. They asked me if I would let them use my van but I was apprehensive as I have seen what can happen to vehicles that get used by film crews. I think I have some pix on my cel phone from when that van was being dressed up.

That van was at Japanoid's lot.
It had a cool matt-black paint job and a 'new caprica police' sticker on it .
pretty cool stuff.

So here are some pictures of that Delica. I think there will be more Delicas in upcoming episodes only because I saw them being worked on.

This is the Chamonix as it arrived from Japanoid. The piece of paper in the window are the elevations from the art department.

First they have to blank out the Chamonix stickers with a neutral finish black vinyl.

Next you see the plan for the decal that is going onto the van and from this they position the various vinyl decals.

Finally you have a Chamonix Delica starring as a police vehicle. Who knows... maybe there will be another spin-off called "Delica Police Van"
