Love the JAOS-like mud flaps! What thickness of rubber did you use? 3-5mm?

What purpose does the chain on the mud flap serve?

Keeps the mudflap from catching under the wheel when backing up in the muck. At least it's supposed to...

That's right.
Most of my driving is done on Dirt road Tracks towing a trailer, So it helps keep the rocks off the trailer.

I was going to call them "Droopy Flaps" but then thought better of it.. :-D

I also have a weak point where I attach the chain to the flaps with a cable tie, so it breaks instead of pulling my rear panel off :shock:

The Awning is from ARB but Rhino Racks sell something very similar.

It's actually a 6mm plastic. I got it from a concrete supplier..feels the same as the Jaos one's...
