Currency Exchange

Post by Azada »

Hi all,
I am not sure if I saw some info on this forum or another. In regards to currency exchange there was someone being reccomended to change Can$ into Yen as he offered better than bank rates. Going to Japan in 2 weeks for another couple of months and hate paying the crazy bank rates. If someone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Ill bring ya back a souvenir.
Thanks,
Darcy

Ken will help you with that. He helps my clients weekly get better rates on buying foreign currencies.

banks always give crappy rates, go to a specialist, I used to work for Custom House Currency Exchange, they have branches all over the world and give good rates.

X2

I compared them with Ken and they ended up being a better rate. Be careful as sometimes they don't tell you that the bank in Japan (if sending $ by wire or otherwise) will take a fee which often won't show up. That's why I ended up going with Bullion. One office on corner of No. 3 Rd and Westminster, Rmd or 900 block W. Hasting Vancouver
