Looking for a test drive in Edmonton

Post by K-Factor »

I'm not yet a Delica owner, but looking very seriously. I need to see how my 6ft tall wife fits in one, and how it drives etc. Is there anyone in the Edmonton area who would be interested in letting me look at (and possibly test drive) both a 300 and a 400?

(I'm not new to JDMs, so RHD is not at all the issue)

I really like the look of the 300, but the 400 looks like a better fit for the tall one. Also more power.

I am also wondering if it would be a smart move to go with a gasser. Not sure how they compare for fuel milage.

Any help out there would be great.

Thanks guys.

As you probably know, it's my job to do the technical research on the vehicle, the hours of surfing for information, stressing over the price and mechanical issues, making sure it has all the bells and whistles required, and her's is to say yes or no. Can't complain though, she's been driving a RHD 5spd Hilux and a HJD81 Landcruiser happily so far. We just need the legroom and the kid-room. Oh yah, and the Ikea-room.

Spearo, would you be around sometime on Monday the 8th?

Thanks!! I really look forward to it!

I'll PM you and get the details if that day works out.

Monday after 4:30 would be fine. I'm up near Ada Blvd off Wayne Gretzky Drive. Let me know and I could meet you somewhere ie: Tim's or Sec Cup etc.
