Re: top of the line L400
Royal Exceed is the top model.
Off road upgrades can consist of anything you can fabricate or install, not limited to 1-6" suspension lift kits, bumpers, winches, etc...
You can lift an L400 the same way as a north american Gen II Montero.
Old Man Emu heavy duty coil springs in the rear with uprated torsion bars in the front, longer shocks all around and rebalanced f/r drive shafts. Lengthened drive shafts, drop down blocks, etc... the list goes on.
I have a few years under my belt for fabricating lift kits for Gen II Montero's (owned a few over 10 years) so I'm looking forward to putting together a nice lift package for the stock L400's coming over in the future.
Gen II Montero's look like this (the L400 Spacegears are based on this platform) :

Re: top of the line L400
Getting there.
Testing out some rear machined spacers that will lift it up 2" and allow you to keep the stock shocks/springs/geometery.
Will be in mid-Nov when we get a full kit together.
Still in the testing stage.

I have a Royal Exceed, my second one, they are great, and the only ones that come with an Airbag, also more room inside as they are a LWB. and an audio visual center mounted in the passenger area.

Perfect timing. My Delica won't be here until mid November.
Any idea on the price of this kit?
What would lifting the front entail?
